1. Information We Collect
We collect information directly when you interact with our features, and some technical information automatically.

- Track the **number of current active users** on a given post.
- Manage your participation in live discussions and content generation for the duration of your visit.
- Comments and Chat-Uploaded Content: When you submit a comment or upload an image **within a post's comment/chat section**, we collect the following:
- **Name (Optional):** You have the option to provide a name with your comment. If you choose to provide one, it will be displayed publicly alongside your comment. If you don't enter a name, your comment will appear anonymously.
- **Comment Text:** The content of your written comment, which is displayed publicly.
- **Chat-Uploaded Images:** If you upload an image within the chat/comment section, the image file itself is stored temporarily on our server and displayed publicly. Image files are processed (resized, converted to WebP) for display.

Due to the use of a load balancer, these logs typically show the IP address of our **load balancer**, not your direct IP address. - Session Data (

,postConnections
,socketToPost
): The Session IDs, along with data related to total views, current views, and active connections, are stored **only in the server's memory** for the duration a post has active viewers. This data is **not persisted** to a database or disk after the last user leaves the post. - Comments and Chat-Uploaded Images:
- Comments (including the optional name and comment text) and images uploaded **within the chat/comment section** are stored **only in the server's memory** as part of the
postStats
object for the duration a post has active viewers. - **Important:** When the last user disconnects from a specific post, all associated comments and chat-uploaded images for that
postId
are automatically **deleted from the server's memory and disk** after a 5-second timeout. This means comments and their associated images are **temporary** and are not permanently stored on our servers.
- Comments (including the optional name and comment text) and images uploaded **within the chat/comment section** are stored **only in the server's memory** as part of the
- Homepage Post Images (Images for New Posts): Images that you upload to **create new posts for the homepage** are stored on our server. These images are essential for the core functionality of infrunt.com, allowing us to dynamically serve new content. These images may be **retained indefinitely** to ensure we always have content available to generate new posts, especially when fresh content isn't immediately provided by users. They are not associated with any personal identifiers.
- Post Lifecycle and Deletion:
- **Chat Content:** Chat content (comments and chat-uploaded images) for a specific post ID is deleted as described above (when the last viewer disconnects).
- **Homepage Post Images:** The **images used to generate homepage posts** are retained to serve future requests, regardless of active viewers on previous posts.
- If you are viewing a post that has been replaced by a new one, your current connection's chat/comments will remain active for that specific (previous)
postId
until you refresh your page or navigate away. New visitors or existing chat members who refresh their page will be directed to the new post and its associated chat.
- Server Logs: These logs are retained for a limited period on the server, consistent with standard web hosting practices, and are then rotated or deleted.
- On-site Contact Form Information: The information you submit via the contact form is retained only for the period necessary to respond to your inquiry and manage any follow-up communications.

- Public Display: Please be aware that any **names (if provided), comments, and chat-uploaded images** you submit are immediately **publicly visible** to anyone viewing that specific post while it is active. Since this data is temporary, it will be deleted once there are no active viewers for that specific post ID OR when the post's content is replaced and all users have left the previous post ID's session. **Images uploaded as new homepage posts** are also publicly displayed as part of the website's content.

- Commenting and Chat-Uploading: You choose whether to provide a name with your comment; comments submitted without a name will appear anonymously. You also choose whether to submit comments or upload images within the chat. If you do, they will be publicly visible for the duration the post's chat is active and are automatically deleted as described above.
- Uploading New Homepage Posts: You choose to upload images to create new posts. By doing so, you acknowledge that these images will be publicly displayed on the homepage and may be retained indefinitely by infrunt.com to facilitate the dynamic generation of content.
- **Requesting Deletion of Homepage Post Images:** If you have uploaded an image for a new homepage post and wish for it to be deleted, you may submit a request via our **on-site contact form**. To process your request, you must provide the exact image name (which can be obtained by downloading the image from the site) associated with the content you wish to have removed. We will review such requests and, if the provided information is sufficient to identify the image, will endeavor to delete it within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that once deleted, the image will no longer be used to generate new posts.
- Data Deletion (Chat Content): Your comments and chat-uploaded images are automatically deleted once the specific post ID's chat becomes inactive (no active viewers for that post ID) or when the post itself is replaced by new content AND all viewers of the previous post ID have disconnected. There is no manual "delete" function for this temporary chat content.
- Content Replacement: Any chat content you contribute may be publicly viewable until the post is replaced by new content and all connections to that specific previous post ID have ended.
