Our Mission

Our mission is to give every individual a voice, as long as it's reasonable. We don't allow nudity or hate-speech but we do allow hurt feelings. Our AI powered content moderator is designed to prevent exceptionally offensive content from being posted, but we do actually like controversial posts. The reasoning behind this position is to encourage discussions. Modern social media is structured in a way that keeps people in their own echo-chambers, and limits communications with people of opposing views. This only increases the divide between people and is harming society. When individuals don't know how to communicate with those of opposing views, they can't solve problems or create change. Here, we don't use algorithms to determine what posts end up in front of who. When you post on this platform, your post replaces the homepage. No algorithm; just your post in front of the entire internet. We use AI content moderation rather than human moderation for 2 very good reasons. The main reason is that human moderators just can't keep up with the constant live updates that we want for this platform. Another reason is that human moderators will always have bias toward their viewpoints. By using AI moderators we can eliminate bias and adhere to a more rigid rule set. AI uses 1s and 0s to determine what meets basic guidelines, not feelings. Although this could never be a perfect system, we believe it to be the best possible solution for this platform. A chatroom is created for every post and please be warned that this chatroom is not moderated. You must be at least 18 years of age to access it because we cannot control what is said inside. You release us from any liability by using the chatroom. There is no moderation in real world conversations and we don't believe there should be in chat rooms either. We moderate what gets posted to the homepage but not what is said inside their respective chat rooms. If people cannot use this feature responsibly we will have to reevaluate this decision, but the hope is that by not steering posts to a certain group of people it will be a more fair and open conversation.

Your Privacy

We do not attach any personally identifiable information to any post or comments. Data that is collected from you is hashed so that while we can use it to differentiate users (necessary), we cannot reverse that process to find information on a user. Hashing is a one-way street and we use this method for your protection and ours. We do not collect your location data in any way, for any reason. We strongly believe in data privacy and we do not collect and/or sell any data for revenue, nor do we use it for advertisement purposes. Any advertisement you see on this website is untargeted. None of that "you talk about a product privately and now see ads for it" nonsense. Images that are uploaded to this website can be stored to regenerate a post later. This is done for user-experience purposes. Once the platform becomes popular enough, this will no longer be necessary. Until then, this platform would be terrible if you tried swiping for a new post 30 times but just keep getting the same content. Any chat room data is immediately deleted once that chat room no longer has any viewers. Chat room comments and images are only stored while there is still at least one active user is in it. The moment nobody is viewing it anymore, all associated data is automatically and permanently deleted.

Summary

The concept here is very simple. This website is a mix between an image-board and an old-school chat room. When you create a post, it replaces the homepage. The entire internet can see your post until someone else replaces it. If you don't like the post on our homepage, you are more than welcome to replace it. Attached to each post is its own chat room. If you see a post that interests you and are at least 18 years of age, you can unlock the chat room and join in on the conversation. Once the homepage has been replaced by a new post, no new users will be able to enter that chat room. Chat rooms are tied to the post itself so once that post has been replaced, all of the required data only exists in the users' browser. If you leave a page, you may not be able to rejoin the chat. If all the users leave a chat room, all of the data from that cat room is wiped, even if the post hasn't been replaced yet. If you make a post or enter a chat room, it's a good idea to open a new window if you want to continue browsing without being locked out of the chat. Also, do not refresh a page because this can also lock you out. Comments and views will be updated as they come in and there is no reason to refresh.
